Jo and Steve – married

It was a windy sunny Christchurch day that saw Jo and Steve getting married.

Jo got ready at Pomeroy’s on Kilmore Boutique Accommodation. Absolutely beautiful place. Jo was on an absolute high, leaping about and shouting “Its my wedding day!!!”. Such contagious enthusiasm.

Jo heard storied of her dad riding in her Grandmas Zephyr when he was young, so it was an easy decision to choose a couple of Zephyrs as their wedding car, so she could ride with her Dad in one.

The ceremony was held in a park just around the corner from their house. Lovely location and beautiful light under the tree. The love between the two of them is so clear to see!

After the ceremony we headed around the central city. Started at the Botanical gardens for some of the ‘Old’ Christchurch. 2013-11-25_00282013-11-25_00292013-11-25_00302013-11-25_00312013-11-25_0032

Then we headed to a graffiti wall for some of the ‘New’ Christchurch. 2013-11-25_00332013-11-25_00342013-11-25_00352013-11-25_00362013-11-25_0037

Our final stop for photos was the old Mill in Addington. It does run down very well.

The reception was a lovely casual fun affair held at Addington Coffee Co-op. I will admit the speeches had me in tears. So much love in the room!

Guys, you are amazing! I loved working with you. Thanks so much for letting me capture your day and attempt to capture the love between you. Wishing you all lifes blessings!!

Much love xx

  1. From Alan and Madeleine in Hornchurch, England. Lovely photos. What a great occassion it must have been. So sad we could not be there to share your special day. It’s wonderful to be able to see everyone. We wish the happy couple a long and happy life together and look forward to seeing you one of these days, perhaps in N.Z or here in the UK.

    • Thank you Alan and Madeleine. We have only just seen your lovely comment, months later! We had a wonderful time and being surrounded by our family and friends made it the perfect day. As you can see, Erin took some amazing photos for us. So glad you could see them on here.

      Much love,

      Steve and Jo
